    • Enlarged Daebang-dong headquarters to consolidate Sosa plant facilities
    • Synthetic chemical plant opened in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do
    • Yuhan received Korean government commendation as “Best Taxpayer.”
  • 1962

    • New headquarters completed in Daebang-dong, Seoul
    • Yuhan Corporation became the first Korean pharmaceutical company listed on the Korea Stock Exchange.
    • Entered first cooperative agreements with major pharmaceutical companies (including American Cyanamid)

    • Corporate operations moved to Busan after outbreak of Korean War

    • Yuhan offices in North Korea and Manchuria closed following Korea’s independence.
