- Enlarged Daebang-dong headquarters to consolidate Sosa plant facilities
- Synthetic chemical plant opened in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do
- Yuhan received Korean government commendation as “Best Taxpayer.”

- New headquarters completed in Daebang-dong, Seoul
- Yuhan Corporation became the first Korean pharmaceutical company listed on the Korea Stock Exchange.
- Entered first cooperative agreements with major pharmaceutical companies (including American Cyanamid)

- Corporate operations moved to Busan after outbreak of Korean War
